BEAU the Dog needs a home
This handsome fellow is a real treat. Since his arrival, Beau has been receiving extra attention from our volunteers who just love and adore him. Initially very shy and scared to be in the shelter setting, Beau has really blossomed into a sweet, loving dog. Our volunteers note:
`He''s eager to come out and walks nicely on leash. He is quick to take care of business. He is becoming playful with us. He also has a very cute little `chortle` kind of speak. I''ve been working on his comfort-level with being playful with me which should also help lessen his startle response. He can still startle with some sounds and situations. He''s become more curious about things when out in a yard. Sometimes he runs around a bit but he''s choosing to spend much of the time out being next to us leaning in for petting or curling up at our feet rolling over for a belly rub. He likes the finer treats but takes them gently.`
